クリスマスって、なんだかワクワクしますね。
少しずつ、飾りを出しています。
毎年大きなツリーを買いたくてうずうずするのですが、じっと我慢。
いつか、実家からツリーをもらうために。
オーナメントがすべてガラスで私もお気に入りです。
なので、今はちょこっとポイント的に飾るだけです。

It's so exciting just to think about Christmas. I have started to get down my Christmas decoration items although I don't have so many. I'm itching to get a big Christmas tree, but since my mother's big Christmas tree with glass ornaments will be handed to me some day, I just get by.

玄関を入るといろんなものがぶーらぶら。今年はフェルトの飾りをたくさん見かけますが、白限定でいくつか買ってみました。左のベルプルは去年の交換会でいただいたものです。とてもかわいいです。

The hallway. Somehow ornaments made of felt are around this year, so I got some. The bellpull is the one I got at last year's Christmas exchange. Isn't it cute?




その下のチェストには、籐のコロコロボールやワイヤーのツリー。籐のボールはこんな感じの丸いものをメルモさんのところで見て、いいなぁと思っていたら、近くの花屋さんで発見。全部買い占めました（笑）。クローゼットのドアには今年作ったオーナメントを。

このツリーは、ワイヤーのコーンにブレードをまいてリボンでとめただけのお手軽ツリーです。ブレードは今年作ったオーナメントにつけたものとお揃いです。

I made this tree by winding the blade and tying it in place with ribbons. It was very easy.

HPの更新もままならないというのに、いよいよ容量が不足してきたので、ブログも並行することにしました。こちらでも、大好きな刺繍やその他のハンドメイド（ビーズ、レース編み、ソーイングetc.）、アンティーク、その他のお気に入りをマイペースでご紹介したいと思います。

タイトルの Stop and Smell the Roses は、その昔、私が大きな影響を受けた人から贈られた言葉です。忙しかったり余裕がなかったりしても、一瞬でも立ち止まって、バラの香りを楽しむことができたらいいなと思います。
